Luska (b. 1987, Yerevan, Armenia) is a graffiti and mixed media artist, as well as a rapper and film-maker. Currently based in London, her work is strongly influenced by music, her travels and her Armenian heritage. These works, which were painted in Paris between 2011-2014, are part of a series titled “Helico Rose”. The recurring helicopter motif represents Luska’s nomadic lifestyle, having lived in nine cities ever since leaving Armenia at the age of 14.
