Out of Focus @ Saatchi

Out of Focus seems to be a fitting title for the current exhibition being held at the Saatchi gallery, as so many photographers are exhibiting it truly is hard to focus on one.

38 photographers from 14 countries take up the space, exhibiting contemporary photographs. While there is no sense of cohesion among the exhibitors nor any common theme, this means that there will be something for everyone. From landscape to portraiture the Saatchi Gallery covers it. One artist which did stand out for me was Katy Grannan, whose large hyperrealistic portraits left at least some impression.

Despite the fact that the show lacks much in terms which is memorable, at least it is something different to look at whilst shopping along the King’s Road.
