summer of art….

this summer has been so hectic for me it has been near impossible to write reviews, although I have still been on top of the art on show in the big city, so I have quickly compiled a list of what I have seen in the last fortnight and what I recommend going to see:

– COURTAULD GALLERY
Mantegna to Matisse: Master Drawings
– SOMERSET HOUSE
The Rolling Stones 50
– THE KING’S BRAZIL INSTITUTE
Sebastiao Salgado
– OPERA GALLERY
Mr Brainwash
– WHITE CUBE GALLERIES
Damian Ortega (Mason’s Yard), Antony Gormley (Hoxton Square), Zhang Huan (Bermondsey)

I have also been to see Ai WeiWei Never Sorry at the Curzon Soho, I cannot stress enough how incredible this film is and although it is only being screened in a few cinema’s, should definitely not be missed!
